Adolescent IOP in Toms River
The Adolescent IOP program in Toms River serves clients in 8th through 12th grades. The minimum age for participation is 14 years old. The adolescent IOP is customized for each participant, by Counselors working together with the client (the teen or adolescent), the family, and the clinical team. A Treatment Plan is developed for specific treatment goals, for each individual.
The Clinical Assessment
A comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment is completed at time of evaluation to establish the appropriate and least-restrictive level of care. Ongoing assessments will be conducted throughout clients’ treatment to ensure that clients receive appropriate care to best increase the likelihood of continued abstinence from addictive substances and behaviors. Ongoing assessments also help determine when clients are safe to be discharged from the program.

Intensive Outpatient (IOP) (ASAM PPC-2R level II.1) All treatment service components are directed towards addressing and treating DSM IV diagnosis for ATOD and other co-occurring disorders and/or recovery issues.
